Don’t be like James Damore
What James Damore did was brave. But it was the wrong approach for fighting DEI. Even if his bosses, or Google executives, had agreed with him, they could not accept him publicly disputing their policies.
What Damore should have done is something like Josh did, above. Quietly found likeminded people in the company, especially those with influence.
